The California Gun Attorney

Consultations

Consultations

Getting advice from an expert can save you time, expense and future legal problems. There are two types of consultations available and each one depends on what your situation happens to be. In most cases, a short time spent describing the particulars of a case is enough for us to provide answers to specific questions.

Free consultations are provided if you may need an attorney to represent you during a current criminal investigation or criminal court case.

Paid consultations are offered if you have questions that you’d like to have answered.

FREE CONSULTATION

Attorney Bruce Colodny offers free initial telephone consultations to individuals who have recently been arrested, issued a citation, have an upcoming criminal case court date, whose home or business has recently been searched, or those who have recently been contacted by law enforcement officers in connection with a criminal investigation.

If this is your situation and you are considering hiring our firm to handle your criminal matter, we offer a free initial consultation and if it is appropriate for us to handle your case, we will enter into a fee agreement that outlines the legal fees and costs as well as what aspects of the case are included in our representation.

We strive to respond to such criminal matter inquiries submitted on this site for Free Consultations within 24 hours (usually much sooner) or you can call our firm at 800-560-8000.

PAID CONSULTATIONS

We offer one-time paid consultations at the rate of $150 for the first 20 min and thereafter at $450 per hour billed by the minute. Consultations can be done either by phone or in our offices, with no further obligation.  Mr. Colodny can conveniently and efficiently consult with people located anywhere in the United States or abroad by phone; however, he can advise you only concerning California and Federal law.

If you have general questions that have not been answered after reading the legal information that we provide on this site you may schedule a one-time paid consultation to provide you with details and recommendations based on the specific facts of your personal situation. This helps you to make an informed decision based on the legal options and strategies available.

If you would like to have a one-time paid consultation to discuss whether your gun rights may be restored after a prohibiting criminal conviction or mental health event, to obtain legal advice to address concerns you may have about your compliance with the firearm laws (for example, does my gun collection include an item which is now unlawful to possess? Was something I have done or is something I would like to do legal?), to obtain a second opinion if you are currently represented by an attorney in a criminal matter, it would be wise to consult with Attorney Bruce Colodny to obtain guidance before you make a decision or cause serious errors that may have been avoided. We offer this service so you can ask whether your gun rights may be restored, to assist you in avoiding a disastrous mistake, to provide answers to your questions, to provide legal advice, clarify your situation and to explain what legal options you may have.
